i think so, but that game is possibly one of the worst ports ever made, it takes a lot to play it.
And do you have an opinion on going to the Intel side. And where are you buying these parts from? most places no longer carry the 1035t or many other phenom cpus.
Where else would I buy parts? GOOGLE obviously.. Haven't bought me yet though.
Also, can my desktop run grand theft auto 4?
A GTX550 should have no problem playing GTA4. While it is still one of the worst optimized ports ever, todays hardware does not struggle to run it anymore.
Although to actually max out GTA4 you will need roughly 1.5GB+ of VRAM so 1GB probably wont max the game out very well.
Did you already buy it? If not, the Radeon 6850 is much better.I am building a gaming desktop and I want to know what games and how smoothly it will run.
Motherboard MSI 970A-G45 AMD 9 Series
CPU AMD Phenom II X6 1035T
Ram Corsair Vengeance 4gb DDR3
Video card Evga GeForce Gtx 550 ti 1gb
Will it run skyrim, battlefield 3, modern warfare 3, global agenda, left 4 dead 2, and other upcoming games? With what settings and what will the fps be?
With your original choice of parts you can PLAY every game, but just different graphics settings will be needed to low FPS.....! So dont ask again because you know the answer already
If you do care about getting better graphics get a 560 ti very cheap for its ability i think, especially if you get the ASUS version!

almost 150 shipped for the cheapest one, but it does destroy the 550ti.
Yes, the only thing that affects the graphics card is a pci-e x16 socket, which every motherboard for the past, idk, like 5-7 years has had

yes your desktop can run anything out there. But the games you want to play run best on i5 and i7 CPU's but you will get along just fine with any AMD CPU you chose.
