I am upgrading from a mac book pro 15 inch so I want a decent comp for gaming and direct 10 graphics to be able to run on it good.

Which Macbook Pro do you have? Are we talking about upgrading from an i5 or a Core2 Duo or something in between? What games do you want to play? Crysis is a little needier than Solitaire.
