What graphic card is good for my build?

Ok I have a 17inch squared monitor. I will be getting a new one soon.
I will be doing some light gaming. Games: Counter Strike Source,Left4dead
and I will be watching movies and surfing the net!

I just need a graphic card and dont know what to pick !

watching movies and surfing the next do not require a good video card as they do little or no video calculating on the fly. Those 2 HL2 games are a few years old so don't require the latest video card either, though it wouldnt hurt. What daisymtc suggested should be more then enough for those games, though future games you might wanna play should be considered.

A good video card isnt needed when the video being watched is already precalculated (movies, even game cutscenes). Games with good graphics require nice video cards because the video can be altered ona moments notice. Its already set in stone what a video card and monitor need to display for movies.
