What Hard drive should i get?

I have a Samsung R519 windows 7 laptop, 32 bit and i have very low space left in Disc C but Disc D is good, i would like to know if i could buy any hard drive for my laptop or if i need specific ones, will my programs and memory in my hard drive now be deleted when replaced and whats the best and cheapest brand to buy from.

You can shrink drive D and give the space to C if you wish. If you buy a new drive. Or any 2.5" drive will work, you will want to clone existing to new.

Thank you so much for your reply so i need any 2.5" drive and could you give links to some hard drives so i can understand more on what type of products i should be looking for. And please tell me good brands etc.
 
Like above posters said...2.5 SATA hard drive such as Seagate will do just fine.And like John said...be sure to clone it otherwise you will need to reinstall everything all over again.

If the laptop is old,it will probably be IDE (PATA) so be sure to buy PATA 2.5 hard drive and NOT SATA.
