what hard drive to buy

hey i need a new hard driver and found this for 60$ canadian, is it good what your tough? should i get something different?

It's as good as anything else. Given the choice I would buy Western Digital but I do have multiple drives made by various manufacturers. As the price is good go for it.

That drive is probably the most popular to get. I use it all the time.

I would get that drive no doubt. Western Digital are some of the best HDD producers, if not the best.

WD is OK, but I wouldn't say they are great when it comes to reliability. They are certainly better than Seagate which is utter crap these days. But, if you want something that'll really hold up, get HGST or Toshiba.
