What is a good wireless/bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo with good range?

Hi, I'm trying to find a good wireless/Bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo with really good range. The one I have now is barely receiving a signal. I'm right next to my computer too. Maybe its damaged or worn out? Anyway I definitely need a new one.

A simple USB extension cable might be easier so you can get the receiver in a place it picks up better signal. Is it on the back of the machine or front?

Its on the side but I had it plugged into a usb 3.0 extension adapter. I plugged it in on the other side by itself and it seems to be working better.
