Dilemma: Money to spend and not knowing what would be better.

I recently decided to build another computer and bought a few items, but haven't built it yet. I'm starting to have second thoughts and was wondering what would be better? Here's what I bought, followed by a comparison of what I could buy. I would like some opinions as to which would be better (faster) for gaming and such.

Money is not an issue, I don't mind spending if I know I'm getting some great gear. But will I get that much more for my money?

What do you think?? And why??

First of all, 9800XT 128/256?

Anyway.
Go for the P4 3.2GHz - E (it's the Prescott core with 1MB of L2 cache (which really boosts overall system performance)
Why - The 1MB of L2 is alot better

OR

Intel P4 3.4GHz Extreme Edition (1400 Canadian $) This is the fastest processor u can get and it has a 2MB L2 chche (even better then the prescott)

MoBo
www.asus.com

the P4c800-e Deluxe
800 FSB dual chan memory bios crashfree ECT ECT look it up on the site. Asus is a very reliable company and has frequent updates for its MoBo. also has the 875P chipset (drooooool) and ICH+5. supports 4Gb dual chan on all coloured slots.

Final- The prescott 3.2 / 3.4 is the best for the money compared to the regular 3.2/3.4 you get an extra 512 Cache for very little extra manybe 40$+
