A device away from computer you mean? computer is a device too, anyway what are you try to do? try to store data on the internet? if so there are internet storage company charge you a fee for store your data for you. If you don't want to pay for the service, you always can get a cheap computer and get a static ip address for that computer, then you can access to the computer remotely via internet.
