is getting ridiculous, I was getting 24megabits before and now 192 kilobits? I don't have any neighbors so it isn't like they're downloading anything, and the speed is about the same on all of my PCs, it's starting to really annoy me, I'm paying for 10mb/s and I'm getting this.
 
You're going about 150 miles away, so just because you don't have any neighbors in your immediate area. There could be people 10, 20, or even 30 miles away that are causing this drain. It could also be that the signal is a little bit out of sync... You can call them and have a tech come out and check, but if they don't find anything wrong with their equipment, then they'll probably charge you a service fee.
 
It's the closest server, and testing with that server before I was getting 24mb/s, lately it's been randomly going between 150kb/s to 5mb/s. My speed has been absolutely terrible, I can't even stream youtube.
 
Well, this is getting old, I am constantly having to reset my router, my speed will drop really low and I'll reset the router and it will be fine again, how can I get this to stop?

Just call your ISP tell them to come fix it or you'll go with another provider, they'll come running believe me.

If they can't find a problem though it's probably your router, did you install all the proper drivers? If so did you update them, if you updated them try rolling them back but make sure you have a stable version waiting so nothing happens.

I've done everything but call Comcast, I've been avoiding doing that. But I guess I'm going to have to. I doubt they'll come running though, we're under contract and have to stay with them until May otherwise we get charged.
 
It's brand new, well, I think mid september, I'm not sure, I'll give Comcast a call I guess, I'm fairly sure service calls are free for us.
 
It's your telephone's cables. Have you installed any new telephones in the house lately ?
I used to have this problem, I removed the telephone that was causing it and now it's gone.

Troubleshoot it, remove the telephones one by one to find out which one is causing the problem.
 
Wow, I actually have installed two new phones, I'll give that a try, the only problem is that it isn't constant, it takes a few days before everything slows down and I have to reset the router.
 
I've had a similiar problem. Thing is, i was expecting it to happen because of it was a a crap belkin router from last year's black friday. My adapter (i'm on wifi) kept dropping the signal and it wouldn't connect again till i replugged in the power cord of the router. Finally, it just conked out, it wouldn't even give out a wired signal...

I bought the new linkysys N ones, Twice the price and probably the sexiest looking router in the world :)

I'd first try what Shady said though, most likely can be it.
