What is Litescribe?

Ok, first off i know what Litescribe does, i was just wondering if anyone has a exact definition. Doing my GF's computer project.

Litescribe- laser etching a label into the top of a specific compact disk (litescribe).

Yeah, that's essentially what it is, a small, low powered laswer that inscribes a label onto your disc. not worth it though. It's monochrome only, so all your discs have that sepia tone to them. also, you have to use Lightscribe discs for the laser to work. It's alot easier to just get a labeling kit at any compusa or bestbuy for $20-25 bucks and make pretty color labels. Just make sure you don't put em on crooked or they will come off in your drive and fuxx0rzz it.
