What is my computer lacking?

[bigz123]

I was curious if theres any really good ways 2 know what the problem is when a game runs slow. im mean as far as games go.like is there certain signs that tell you its your processor? or video card? or ram? i recall not having enough ram to play farcry and the game would run smooth untill i swapped through my weapons. any other signs like this too look for? and as far as that goes... how much does the processor actually do when the game is loaded? thanx

you need to tell us your computer specs otherwise we are going to have trouble giving you advice. i would say that your limiting factor is the gpu but again that is an educated guess. yes, processor, ram, gpu are all important.

The GPU is definitly the most important upgrade. Ive had my system for just under a year now, and newer games were starting to run slow (had an ATi x1300) upgraded to the latest 4870 and now have no problems!
