What is my IP address?

My computer is on a LAN and when I go into command prompt->ipconfig /all-> it gives me the 192.168.1.2 address... Except, this isn't the IP address used by other ppl to connect to my PC... So what is my IP???

if you log into your router, your "real" ip address will be in the settings somewhere.

Can you ping yourself from another computer away from your home?

If he doesn't know his IP address, what's he going to ping?

Type in "what's my ip address" in google and you'll get a number of sites that display your IP address.
