What is some good diagnostic software?

I am interested in checking the performance of my computer using some diagnostic tools. One time, I saw a girl that had software that checked her computers internal temperature. I am interested in software like that. Can someone tell me any and all software that falls in this category.

I am not talking about utilities, but diagnostic stuff.

I probably sound like a novice, and possibly don't even know what I'm talking about. Lol. What kind of stuff can I check?

Those are only utilities. Once again, you're using the term "diagnostics" incorrectly. You only diagnose when there is a problem.

If you want to monitor stuff, you have plenty of utilities to choose from.

CoreTemp can monitor voltages and temps

HWmonitor does a similar function

An all-in-one utility that is very customizable is Rainmeter. You can monitor network traffic speeds, temps, time, drive space, and many other things. I used it many years ago but haven't used it lately.

Other tools that can spat out system information include CPUz, GPUz, and Belarc Adviser.
