What is the best Duel Channel RAM?

I'm looking for 2x2048mb duel channel ram. What kind is good for gaming or overall the best?

its good to know what you are putting it into to better answer the question, computer model or motherboard.

Some good brands are: Corsair, Kingston, OCZ, Patriot, and my very own G.Skill.

Corsair is very good but a bit pricey. Kingston is the best concerning price. Never used anything else.

Don't know, but sure others will reply, you could also check Google for reviews

But in regards to your Title: What is the best Duel Channel RAM?
There is no such thing

But Motherboards can have dual channel Ram slots (generally all do now)
Which allows you to put 2 same ram cards amounts in, and the motherboard will then speed up the access by using dual channel

I was getting those because they can be overclocked, or am I wrong?

I believe they can though. Also, should I maybe get a memory cooler or do you think they will stay cool?

It's really no big deal, but I'm just curious.

If you are looking for good RAM that will overclock well and has a cooler...this Corsair set is about the best you can get for under $150. They have nice timings also.

Do you need a RAM cooler...no...you don't. Your RAM will run just fine without it. It may get a little warm but they are made for some heat:D

Really that RAM is kinda an overkill. You can get a nice G. Skill set for under $100 these days. I would get this set...not quite as good of timings but they will be fine. And they match your motherboard color scheme:D

Your right they do match my motherboard, but my board is gonna be AMD version so it wont work; atleast thats what the specs say. ;)

The G Skill will work on a AMD board. They just show its Compatible with the P55. Just make sure if your using a after market CPU cooler there is enough room to clear the taller ram.

Oh, then I'll check into those then. I'm still leaning toward http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277 but I really don't know what the difference is between that and the one you linked....http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231278

I mean they both pretty much have the same specs, almost.

I can't wait to test out my new corsair stuff (see recently purchased items thread) I'll let you know how it goes, and how well they overclock... the heatsinks should help ;)
