What is the best laptop/notebook I can get for $2500-/+

Hey,

I am in the market for a new laptop and was wondering what your opinions on the best one I can get for $2500+/-. I will be using it for some media work (Photoshop and Video Editing) and school work mostly, but will do some gaming and other stuff every now and then.

I was looking at the Macbook Pro but I heard rumors of them releasing a new one this month with a quad core processor. Do any of you know if this is true or have heard the same thing.

I have been out of the computer seen for a bit and don't know any of the new laptops out there.

Does it seem like a goo setup. Would you recommend this notebook aswell?
 
I was looking at the 8760...the bigger screen will be better. That's just my 2 cents:D I bet you will thank yourself later for the bigger screen.

I have a custom Sager now for 3 years and still love it. It has been rock solid and the build quality is amazing. I have never once regretted buying this laptop.

as for your macbook pro question, apple releases new notebooks during their january events. the possibility of quad cores in the MBP's are now higher since the iMac, which uses laptop parts as well is now fitted with a core i5 processor in the top spec model.
