im opening a site, just a chat forum, should i keep the hosting for 3.99 a month just the keep it from saying free hosting on my site? of should i switch to the free hosting and add the forum on my site? or do i need to pay for hosting to get vbulletin on my site? i dunno!!.......im thinking of keeping the 3.99 a month hosting and buying a licence for vbulletin of using a php code to add a forum, that all the site will be, mainly like this one type in the address and a forum pops up...

IMO use SMF forum instead, Its free and I like it better anyways, I like SMF IPB Vb then if everything else is no option for some reason the dreaded PHPbb.....
Get SMF its free very secure and easy to setup.
a Vbulliton liseance will cost you 40$ a year I belive...Not 100% sure.
Also does your "free" hosting include a MySQL database? You will need a database for any forum you use(unles you use YaBB bt then you need support for perl)
I suggest paid hosting(can be cheap, the 3.99 plan will "probally" be fine, although I dont knwo what it is) and installing SMF 1.0.7 or SMF 1.1 RC2
