What is the best type of forum

Whart is the best type of forum smf, phpbb

As far as forum software is concerned, I love Mybb. It is my favourite to run/use.

phpbb Forum gets my vote,I dont like SMF.

Invision Power board (IPB) are good too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but SMF is free while phpbb (like this site) is paid. Depends if you think it's worth the price, but I always thought that phpbb was best.

I guess this means I have to correct you. phpBB is free. vBulletin, which is what CF uses, is not free.

Anyways, my vote goes to phpBB.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing...

My squad used to use PhpBB and we cahnged to vBulletin cause its a hell of a lot better... more secure and gives a "cleaner" look imo.

but out of those 2 it would have to be phpBB.
