What is the best Windows version for slow pc?

Is it true that Windows 2000 was target by hacker the most?

My old PC is running windows 2000 and i don't think the pc spec can handle windows 7 yet.

Its Intel Celeron cpu 1.2ghz
128mb ram
10gb hard drive

You can run XP on those specs.

There is no way you can put anything else on that machine besides XP and it will run horrendously slow. Time for a new machine.

Even most Linux distros will choke on 128 mb.

In hindsight, y u make troll account? Those specs aren't even accurate for the era.
