what is the correct resolution for

i have a 720p HDTV, Specs: http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/t...etail&tab=spec

Do i want my computer resolution to be 1280 x 720? or do i want my computer to be 1366 x 768 ? i am really confused on this

Most HD 720p are 1366x768, to accomodate different aspect ratios.
(as in 4:3, 16:10, 16:9)
