What is the minimum FPS you consider to be playable?

Well I play on-line flash games on my old lap top because its in slow mo and I can react faster :D

I played the entire campaign of CoD2 at about 16 FPS... i had everything turned up all the way lol. Anything below that, however, and i cant stand it.

Really? I play COD2 as well, (demo) and I play at max graphics at 12 FPS. the only time it doesn't seem to good is with the MP42

i play cod2 on all low settings and its like in slow mo it isnt jumpoy buts its really slow but o well what can u expect with geforce 6100

MG42? i had the same problem, but i just took single shots and headshotted. And i mainly slowed down when i walked into a bunch of smoke.

20, anything lower is too jumpy for me. Some of my games can berely hit 23FPS, but I play them for hours. When it falls to 13-18FPS I can definetly tell.

20 is my minumum, can't stand anything under that, cos it becomes impossible to shoot and oops I died 3 frames ago but my system didn't let me know untill just now!

That type of thing just bugs me:P

that's just my minimum. I should have started it off as "what is the minimum FPS you will accept" because that's just my minimum, I get to about 30-35 FPS at max and 20 FPS on average. I got a 6200. Some one said they had a 6100. You should upgrade the 6200 Is on of the best budget cards for AGP I ever used. Oh, and on F.E.A.R. my minimum FPS is 10 but my average is 20-25 and my max is about 43. I'm sorry I should have said it like that from the beginning. But Oh well, what can ya do.

Hay now I'm not left in the lagging dark any more!!! I just updated my drivers and now get 10 more FPS then usual!!! WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmm, never thought of doing that...haven't done that in weeks...

20-25 is very playable to me.
i have a crappy card , sometimes i wish to get more than 10 fps in some games

The best minimum fps in games are 60 and the highest 82+. I get 300-500 on some games but i cant tell difference between 100 and 500. But then again that fps reduces to 75 or higher when you play the latest game out now.

20-30 sounds about right 60+ is ideal seeing as the human eye only sees about 60fps so you wont notice anything....(correct me as i might be wrong on this)

I have done a lot of research on this and in a dark room, air plane pilots could correctly identify a plane at 250 fps. they could see white light at 500 fps, but that was as fast as the machine making the picture could go. I think, try googling it.
