first off, yea it would be awesome. building it urself the card costs $152 the proc costs $215, the mobo at least $102(the cheapest one with 6 usb) psu $120, ram $110, hd $87, the drive im not looking for, but ill guess $40, ethernet controller is on mobo, wireless card $25, case(raidmax atx black) $55, speakers speakers idk, xp pro you will have to load yourself and costs $149 with sp3 and all this amounts to: $ 1055. oh i forgot thermal paste:$7. so $1062.
