I agree with ComputerGuru, It is worth more than $500 Bucks.

With the 7900GT, it should play the games well!

yes im thinking about buying it for my 10 year old son so we can play games on line I think I will need to upgrade the memory though

Thanks Tim

it should play those games rather nicely, but unless your kid is the toughest mother out there, i wouldnt let him play quake doom or fear lol they even creep me and lots of the adults around here out. (well quake not so much but it makes my 10 y.o. bro jump quite forcefully)

that system is EASILY worth 500 bucks! and that includes the monitor? WHAT A STEAL!

With XP, you dont have to upgrade the ram nor the video card, that system will be LEET for awhile

It is a steal, make sure you're not getting scammed. If you're dealing with a friend, it's not likely, but if with Craigslist or something similar, be careful. With a price this good, I seriously wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of catch, or otherwise.

I think im going to buy it today is there anyting I need to look for when i try it out

Thanks Tim

If you're familiar with PC hardware, simply look inside the case. You should be able to recognize all the hardware you are guaranteed. If not, boot into XP, right click My Computer -> Click Properties -> Click Device Manager. The Device Manager will show you all the hardware currently installed on the PC.

For software, check the Add/Remove programs option in the Control Panel. Make sure everything (games, etc.) is there. You may want to confirm that Windows XP is genuine. Consider running a Windows Genuine Advantage check at this address: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/

See if the seller can provide you with the XP product key. If not, you can download a utility that will find the product key at this address: http://majorgeeks.com/Magical_Jelly_Bean_Keyfinder_d2612.html

Looks like an excellent deal! Good luck, fellow 916'er! :P
