What is wrong with my computer?

I start up my computer and everything seems to startup fine.
The monitor, however, says that it has no signal from the computer and stays blank. Also, after about a minute, the computer reboots and the process starts over again.

I have tried the monitor with a different computer and it works fine.
I have put the hdd in another computer and it starts up without any problems.

I have never had this happen to me before and instead of replacing each component one by one until it works i figure I would save time and effort and ask what the problem might be.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

are there any beeps?
 
This computer doesn't have the 'beeper' unfortunately, otherwise it would have probably been an easier problem to fix.
 
May be RAM Problem

if ur not able hear any beeps then try to clean Memmory slots and re-insert Memmory modules.

if its not reply me back.
 
I think you misunderstood me a little.

I did not hear any beebs because the computer does not have the device that makes the beebs, so it will never make beebs.

Also, the monitor does not show anything, so I don't know how to reset the BIOS since I don't know what is happening.
 
Might be the video card? If something is wrong with the video card it wont send a signal to the monitor. Then maybe after a bit the computer cant handle running the video card like that and reboots?
 
When clearing the CMOS, take the battery out and unplug from power, then hold the power button for ~20 seconds.
 
Okay

So the computer originally came with a separate 'beeper' that connected to the motherboard, which has since been lost.

The computer only has the the on-board graphics card, so I would have to replace the whole motherboard.

I tried removing the battery, and then trying again, and it did not change anything.
