what is wrong with my PC????? nothing ever installs correctly

hi,

I just spent an hour installing Ghost Recon Future Soldier and Ubisoft launcher installed, game installed, all updates, pressed play and it said error 2, then I tried restarting my pc, and now my game and ubisoft everything I installed has just vanished??????

My hard drive space has gone back to 189gb free, and everything that I just spent an hour installing is gone? there's no traces of it whatsoever, just vanished after only restarting pc as normal,

Also I bought GTA IV from steam, tried installing it, and the game kept crashing while loading menu, then I unistalled it, re installed and now it won't even run, and my GTA IV Steam game download vanished from Steam, and steam found it somewhere on my hard drive and found old files and it was back,

Also we got Skyrim bought from Steam working perfectly, spent 10 hours playing it without any problems in the past week or so, and now it just freezes on the loading screen.

All my games just mess up and its so irritating, It just seems that nothing will work on it properly, all my games are genuine bought brand new from either steam or shops, and they just dont install :( :(

Me and my brother are really confused about this, its a very powerful gaming computer (gtx 670 with latest drivers) and i5 3570k, 120gb SSD, 320 GB HDD, 8gb RAM

Please can someone help me out :)

I cannot work out how the game I just installed vanished after just simply restarting my computer?

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Windows, and Steam,

Windows 7 64 bit

I have tried loads of different things, yet games such as Planetside 2 beta plays perfectly, Red faction works, the movies works, team fortress 2 on steam works, red orchestra 2 on steam works, grand prix 4 works, War Inc battlezone on steam works, counterstrike on steam works, APB on gamers first works oh and guild wars 2, star wars something whatever its called works, and also minecraft works

Yay! GTA IV and Ghost Recon now work, I think the problem is my internet connection, I put steam as download speed 10 something and it seems to install correctly, also ghost recon updates may have caused it (bad internet connection)

All working wooh :)
