I tend to stick with Gigabyte myself. Been a loyal purchaser since 2008. My first build had a MachSpeed board (MSI rebrand).

Woohoo! Me too!

Though I like Gigabyte boards too and I recommend them a lot. But I use an ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 in my rig and before that I had a P7P55D-E. :good:
I've had Asus, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock, and do love them all - I just prefer the BIOS and layout of the Asus MB's.

Only other brand I owned besides OEM ones was Foxconn - that purchase was a mistake... ;)

Thankfully this poll was set up right with the option of multiple selections.
I have many "brands" of motherboards here including Vic, Atari and probably another one or two I don't recall ATM.
Not sure who really made the MB in my Radio Shack stuff as it has been many years since I actually paid attention to them.

It gets interesting when you are old enough that you have collected a lot of comps but hung on to them because they weren't worth enough to sell by the time you thought about it, BUT some are now worth more than I paid for them back then.

I use Asus, but I'm not a lover. Not after the horror stories I hear from their RMA service. Thigh they do seem to make decent boards. Also Not a big fan of their UEFI, MSIs Click Bios seems like it'd be much better. I would have chose Gigabyte had I not gotten this board for a good deal.

I do favor Gigabyte but wish they would change the color scheme.
I liked the older colors and dislike the blue/white they seem to use currently.

A good board is a working board, what ever colour it is :P. Currently I use a Gigabyte and have no reason to switch, but I have used Asus, MSI and ASRock as well.

They no longer use the blue/white scheme, all the newer boards are all black. Look at the new fm2+ boards.

Both desktops in the house here have Gigabyte boards,Although there are a lot of great boards out there ive always preferred Gigabytes.

I haven't bought or even looked in a couple of years.
Black seems way better than the blue/white.
I still have an AM+ board that is orange/something that I liked the look of.

ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe -> ASUS M4N68T -> Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L -> ASUS P8P67 B3 -> ASUS P8Z77-V LX -> ASUS P8P67 B3 (exactly same board) -> MSI Z77A-G45
NEVER buying MSI again. ASUS is life, ASUS is god.
Let this be a warning. MSI Z77A-G45 is unable to accept a manual CPU voltage. You have one option. Auto. I have a few words in mind that aren't allowed here to describe how I felt when I found that out after installing my entire system.
Both the ASUS P67 and MSI Z77 cost around $135-145 when they were new.
