what ISP to go with UK

hi all,

moving out my house (with rents atm) there with virgin media, moving into a flat, just wondering what fibre broadband to go with from the BT providers BT/plusnet/talktalk or virgin media

also i especially like virgin media as i can make there router into a modem only box and use my pfsense as a router, do you know if i can carry on doing this with the other companys

Been with Plusnet (now owned by BT) for over 10 years and they've been fine.

Not sure about the answer to your router question. I never use the ones they give you - got a DrayTek Vigor 2860n instead.
