What Just Happened?

Verrrrrrrry interesting...my friend who is amazing w/ computers...he's 15 but he's a freaking genius, (he's revived multiple mobos), he told me that the USB smoking could have shorted out that one part. He told me to unbend the USB port...so I put a USB in and out of it a lot for about 2 minutes, started up, normal boot, no glowing, no smoking.

I just am not going to use it yet because I'm not sure if it's safe yet.
 
OK, it's on and I'm on it yet. Although the cover is on. If it's been on for an hour and 15 minutes, no burning, but just mild internet, IM'ing, emailing (Thunderbird), and Word processing, is it time for a cover? I will be playing mild games on here too...mostly MVP Baseball. I don't think that will put this under too much stress?
