It has a mini dvi output (read the graphics and video support section here), which you can get adapters for dvi, vga and video. Here is the apple store with the cables for it, its all the ones that say mini-dvi adapter. They obviously felt that they didn't want to put a full size one in and didn't want to include an adapter (which means I have to pay $19 for one for my macbook grrr:mad: ).

My mac mini came with a converter. But if you don't have access to the original stuff of the laptop, I wouldn't go by an apple store. They'd overcharge you for just a simple converter you could buy at most any other computer store.

Ok I may have mistook what you said. If you have a macbook then you need the special adapter that I showed you which is an apple specific product, however if you have the macbook pro, or probably powerbook as well then you only need a dvi to vga adapter which can be bought at any computer store. But if it is a macbook pro it should have come with an adapter. Which mac laptop are you talking about?
