What memory should I get?

Yes, I ve seen Corsair's site. It says about the heatspreads but not especially about those fins.

The fins are part of the heatspreader, it is one solid piece of aluminium. You are giving the people that review items on the egg far too much credit

I own the Vengeance series of Corsair's ram, and they are wrapped in aluminium, fins and all. All of Corsair's ram (I believe) are wrapped in aluminium.

Well, I just ordered g.skill ripjaws. So I ll tell u tomorrow if its from metal or plastic

Yes, g.skill ripjaws is all metal. Fins are not thinner than the rest heatsink.
Are vengeance's fins thinner?
