what memory u guys reccomend?

ok well i need 1g.b memory..
doesnt matter eather 2 512's or 1x 1.gb
but needs to be around $100-140 ishh
....

well it kinda does matter if u want 2 x 512mb or 1 gig because if u plan on upgrading in the future then u might want a 1 gig stick. also one might be more expensive so if u plan upgrading in the future then just tell us.
 
i would either go with dual channel 2x 512 or 2x1 gig i would never go with just one stick to me its a waste of money when you can be getting double the bandwith
 
I would go with the 1 gig chip, for the choice of upgrade in the future but then thats more money, and I see what xero means about wasted space (although that never bothers me, only using 1 slot). I dont know where you could get 2x 512's for under $100 though, But if you have a place, then that would be cool too. It's up to you man!

yea I am going to Up in furure..so where can i get a descent 1g.b stick for under 120 (UsD) ish....

I really dont wanna go that high but...
 
well that deal that amd posted seems like a really good one. unless u plan on upgrading to more than 2 gigs u shuld go with the 2 512mb because ur mobo proably has 4 slots so u could always just upgrade to 2 gigs. also u could save up like 50 more dollars and just buy 4 512 now.

Yes i have 4 slots and i dont mind getting 2x 512's and 1x 1g.b
or 4x 512's because the most I plan on having in that comp is 2g.b

got any links to A nice site that has inexpensive ram....

Btw will any pc-3200 fit on my comp..
because some1 told me a while back, that my mobo/cpu wont work well
with ddr2 or w.e

it has better timings then the rest of the ram posted here and it is 82.50. and is good ram
 
I'd be inclined to go with the 2 x 512 for this reason. If one stick happens to fail you can still function with the good ram stick until faulty one is replaced. Never has a problem with KINGSTON
