what mobo should i get....

well since i got a new job, im upgraded bth of my PC's. i still want it to be pretty cheap though(as cheap as possible for what i want)

what mtherbored do you think i should get?i want
-DDR RAM(MIN of a MAX of 1GB 2GB perferable and 4GBwould be fine, if it dosn't cost to much more, so i can upload later.)
-dual channel would be nice but its not a big deal without it
-AMD CPU compadible
-PCI AND PCI express slots.
Thats basicly all main stuff im going to want on it.
Any sugestions for a cheap one?

The pci-E part makes it hard to get one very cheap. For most part your amd options is a skt-939 board. There might be 1-2 exception where a skt 754 board has pci-e but it not normle.

cheapest one I feel confortable recomending is a skt 939 MSI nforce4. It cost $90 http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-130-491&depa=1

If that to much money there might be some sligtly cheaper but then we geting into budget motherboard companies.

I want the PCI express because i dont want to have to upgrade later, because they are already making manythings on PCI Express and sooner or later all the new things will prabally be on it.How much cheaper do you think i could get a bored around with the same stuff like the 4x DIMM Dual Channel DDR 400 Max 4GB. I could live without the PCI express, i ussally get used video cards and stuff anyways.what are some good ones without the PCI express?

IF you want the 4X dimm dual channel DDR400 max 4GB then acturally you dont save any money by going agp.

The only way you going to get a good cheaper motherboard is if you decide to go skt 754 instead of skt 939. This mean no dual channell(this is not a big deal), max 2-3gb ram and agp slot. besides all that you would need to get a skt 754 cpu. even than you going to save only around $20 if you get a good motherboard.

Most likely not gonna happen (read the RAM101 for details) but essentially yer gonna get 4GB at DDR333

Then you're looking at registered DIMMs (and a registered capable motherboard) ... needless to say thats not cheap
