What monitor is best for editing photos

I have a omen tower and an hp 25f monitor my colors on my monitor don’t match what I see on my phone or what others see on social media. I recently did a windows update and the colors got even worse. I was told that it might be the drivers in my tower but I’ve tried everything given I have limited knowledge about computers.
is it worth it to just get a better monitor? Or try to get my tower fixed? Is 4K better for true color match to social media and smart phones?

Go into device manager under display adapters and tell us what is listed.

Try downloading and installing the latest driver version for the card. I'm assuming its for windows 10?

Being that you already have an IPS panel, I would look into monitor color calibration software as well as updating your video card drivers.

I just installed the newest drivers that the person shared above but still seems off I just bought the spyder pro elite so hopefully that will help.

Check the monitors built in settings as well to see if it's on a weird color profile.
