What monitor?

Hey guys, I need to choose a monitor for my new system, I want it to be atleast 24"+ and I want to keep it below $700 and preferably about $500.

By the way the new system will be Dual 8800GTX's SLi'ed, Core2quad, and 680i nForce Mobo.

Those are the same monitor, just a different color. Neither one has an integrated tv tuner, it has component inputs. You sitll need something like a cable or satellite box to decode the tv singal and have component cable outputs.

like i didn't know that it was the same model (DUH), singal? i think you meant signal anyway isn't this the same with any other monitor of the 24"?

What do you mean? If you knew they were the same model, why did you say they had different features?

And about the tuner thing...very few monitors have built in tv tuners...with a built in tv tuner you do not need a cable/satellite/settop box, you can just plug a cable feed or antenna directly into the monitor. However, the monitors you suggested cannot do this, they have component inputs...it stiill needs something to decode the signal; it still needs a cable/satellite/settop box.
