What? Monitors make a difference?

What the hell? I'm new at this PC stuff and I did not know that the quality of your monitor would have an effect on your PC's performance in the sence that images would stack and glitch in high action GAMES such as FAR CRY.
Isn't the graphics card self sufficient or does the monitor actualy make a difference in the performance of the card? Will a low end monitor, flat screen, 19 " be the same as a high end one ? Not regarding quality of display, cuz I know their will be a difference, but will the frames per second be too much for a low end flat screen?

PS: Pardon my grammar.......... i'm french!

It doesnt have that big of an impact. In fact, unless you're using a LCD than you shouldnt have any problems with gaming.

Depends on the video card. Monitor doesnt have much to do with it. What video card do you have?

There will be no difference in FPS ... just quality but that wont really be noticeble in gaming either.

If you're gonna get an X800... make sure you dont skimp out on the rest of the parts! :)
