What motherboard for i5

Undoubtedly

Hey I'm getting the i5 for strictly gaming. I don't require a crossfire/sli or overclocking abilities.
Card I'll be getting is a 6950 2gig.

Now, the question I have is, should I just spend more on a board that does have sli/crossfire and other features?
Or should I buy a board that has good features for single gpu?
Budget for the board would be little less than $140

Any help would be great

If you don't Sli/ crossfire, I don't see the point of you paying extra.
ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3) at good value

Yeah that's what I was trying to get at. Thanks. Lastly, I need a case, I heard the 6950 is big compared to standard cards. I guess the Haf 912a or Antec 300 might be good, any opinions on case?

6950 could fit in those case.
Antec 300 only have one fan, may consider other.
With case under $60, you can also have a look at Rosewill destroyer, Rosewill challenger, NZXT M59, Enermax LuxuRay

HAF 912 is a wider case, it would be good if you want a tall heatsink.

I love the look of the NZXT M59. I'd throw a few fans on it. Cannot hurt. Thanks for the advice
