I have an Hp Pavilion 1230n, I just brought a new case with a window and nice blue neons, My motherboard though is to small, it only has 3 PCI slots, I cant even upgrade the Video card. Anyways I was looking to buy just the Motherboard and re use my AMD athlon 64 3700+, 2 slots of 512 DDR RAM. What should I get?
It needs to have
at least 5 PCI slots, 1 AGP, 2 SATA ports, 2 IDE ports.
It has to be able to fit an AMD athlon 64 3700+
but be able to handle a duel core if I upgrade.
4 DDR memory slots, with 4GB maximum upgrade.
It needs to have an Onboard sound card, Printerport, Ethernet, 2 USB slots, 1 COM port, Mouse, Keyboard to fit my case. Im putting an ATI Radeon x850 in the AGP slot.
I just want to know whats a good company/price to buy. Thanks
