What new hardware?

I recently moved. When I put my computer back together and started it up, it tells me that it has found new hardware. If I click cancel, it pops up again twice. If I tell it to automatically find the installation software, it tells me it can't find it. I have everything set up just as I had it at my previous home. Everything works as it should. Is there a way to get it to tell me what hardware it's talking about? Is there at least a way to get it to quit telling me that it found new hardware every time I turn it on?
BTW, it's Windows XP.

odds are when you plugged your usb devices back in, what ever they may be you didn't plug one back into the same port it came out of. If what ever device this was needed drivers in order to run (windows didn't detect it the first time you tried to use it) you'll have to install the drivers again. Windows tends not to be smart enough to realize that it's the same thing plugged into a different port.

I agree, it's probably something with USB. I remember back with my previous laptop and the USB wifi "stick" I had, I'd get a new network connection if the card was plugged into a different USB port. Quite annoying when I started getting around "Wireless Network Connection #6" :P

Device manager worked for all but one of them. Thanks. When I tell device manager to reinstall the drivers for the one that doesn't work, it tells me it can't find them (even online). The device is under "other controllers" and is called "SM Bus Controller". Any idea what it's talking about?

sounds like something to do with your motherboard, if you have the cd that came with it try installing the chipset drivers.
