What Office suite with Windows 7?

Hi,

I was just wondering what the recommended Microsoft Office suite version is for using Windows 7. Is there a version newer than Office 7, or is there a newer version expected to come out shortly?

I'm looking for the basic version (Student version will do fine for me).

There is no Office 7, there is Office 2007. Currently that is the latest but Microsoft already has Office 2010 beta released to the public for testing. You may want to use the beta trial for free until Office 2010 is released, and then buy it.
