Wow i'm noob... sad but any ways what would be a good core clock for a 2.2 amd althon 64x2 with stock cooling? to be stable

AMD's suck for OC unless it's a black edition. you wont go high with that chip. you'll just have to experiment because every chip will OC differently. someone who also has a 2.2ghz AMD CPU will get different OC results because there are different batch numbers

Look for EasytunePro5 at Gigabyte's website-that's what I started oc'ing with-before getting into the bios. It came with my motherboard-but it might work with yours.
