Yeah i wanted to use VLC but it didnt work. It artifacted (grammar?) (see my post in this section)I use and prefer VLC over any other player such as Windows Media Player. The main reason that I like VLC is because it is simple and it also allows you to play alot of different video types which have different codecs.
i always used AVS DVD player. it was free, and never gave me any problems. i don't really have any requirements for DVD software other than being able to skip chapters... and that's about it. so i don't have much feedback other than it works. but i would recommend it because it was straightforward and free.
