What PSU do i need?

Ok well i wanna build a gaming PC.

Now what is the highest Wattage i will need. I will not go multi GPU

so to have a computer like the future one in my sig, how much power do i need?

I reckon a 500 Watt power supply with a decent amount of amps on the 12V rail (lets say around 40) and as long as you had the right amount of PCI-E connectors for your GTS (I think its two 6 pin connectors needed) you should be right.Just make sure its not a cheap one and check out ceewi1's useful PSU guides.

If you want to do crossfire you will need a bit more power in your PSU than this. The guides should help you for that.

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.5Ghz or better
Newest chipset mobo (P35 and better)
2+ gigs OCZ ram
GeForce 8800GTS 512MB


is it enough?

I would say the Corsair HX520 would be your best choice. You don't need a lot of power for 1 8800GTS. Now, if you ever do consider dual cards as you mentioned, the OCZ GameXstream 700W is also a great choice.

(if i do go, i will go crossfire, less power, cheaper and better results)

Hopefully as technology progresses so will the need for a Strong PSU (power saving)
