the overview says "1. Compliance with the newest Intel standard ATX 12V V2.3" does this mean it is only compatible with intel motherboards/cpu's?

Plenty of power for your rig, mine draws just a little more but 100% stable. I had the Antec BP500U in my AMD rig and would hit thermal shutdown after 20-30 minutes of gaming. This PSU doesn't flinch, runs cooler, more efficient, and costs less than the antec.
