I'm waiting on all my parts to arrive, new logisys clear case, neons, fans, and NZXT fan controller. I was going to wait on the PSU, but figured while its all apart I might as well buy the PSU and do it all at the same time. What PSU will work with my 435mt ? intel i7 processor, Im adding a NZXT lcd fan controller, and about 3-5 neon lights with 3 extra fans. I have alot of usb gadgets, and I'm going to do a little bit of over clocking and upgrading internals as I go on.

As long as you are using an aftermarket case and not the original Dell you are able to go with w/e PSU you would like. I suggest a ~650w by Seasonic, Antec or Corsair. DO NOT cheap out on a power supply. A faulty PSU can destroy the rest of your investment so keep that in mind.

As long as the case fits it, and the dell doesn't have any nonstandard PSU connectors it will work fine. Best to check in the case first, check the connections. the 24pin mobo connector, the 4+4pin CPU connecter, SATA/Molex leads and PCI-E ones are all that you'll need

ok thanks guys, Ill post up the one i decide on getting, so you guys can give me a few reviews if you don't mind. Ill have over a grand in just my tower, when its all said and done, I defiantly don't to cheap out on power supply. Also another quick question. I have a compaq (junk) newer desktop. I'm using the dvd light scribe burner that's out of the compaq in my dell/logisys case build. Any problems with doing this? I wanted a second reader in case I ever already had something going on in the one. I had a second, Also all the new power supplys are sata power connectors, I think the neon lights and the fan controller might be molex? I just need to buy adapters right?

something like this..

(EDIT) Nevermind on the sata to molex connection. I looked at the wire diagram, just seen that the 5th wire on the sata cable is just 3.3volts, so If i snip that wire off, and wire up the other 4 wires to the molex connecters I have from other pc's I'm good. I only need molex for a NZXT fan controller , and lighting.

I went ahead and purchased the HX650watt corsair. After reading all the reviews on a few different psu's this seams like the best way to go... Seems like I don't have to worry about my pc frying up or psu not working in 2 days with this psu. I do like that your sata power cables are individual and can be plugged in as needed, thats great.
