its already got a 2.8ghz p4, 9700 radeon g card, hdd, and drives but i dont know what psu to get, im getting a new case too, so should i just get one with a psu in?

yea i looked at the sticky, it was long and quite confusing

Well it was long, yes, it sort of has to be. What were you confused about? It's very well written and gives you some basic need to know information about PSUs.

yea well written hats off praetor, but how do you know how much wattage you need...i figuerd so far around the 30A mark but what about wattage?

Which is why there is a TOC to goto what section u need

If you read the 101, you'd have seen this as well as this
