What RAM should I buy?

I'm thinking of buying new RAM. I have 2x256 Mb and I would like to add 512 Mb more.

But here's the thing. I have four slots for RAM, two of them green and two of them blue. One is connected to the green slot, and the other to the blue one.

Here are the specifications for my computer:

Processor Intel Pentium 4 HT/Celeron
Processors 533/800 MHz FSB-KPE3A00736
Chipset Intel 865PE, Intel ICH5R
4 DDR DIMM, Up to 4 GB; DDR333/400, 1 AGP 8X74X, 5 PCI
Supports Serial ATA, USB 2.0, ATX

I need to know what is the best solution and what type of RAM I should buy so it would be compatible with motherboard.

the max you can support is pc3200, and the multi colored slots just signify that it supports dual channel, meaning you put one in a green, the next in a blue, the next in the other green, then the final one in the last blue(as an example). corsair xms pro is always a sure bet, just look around for a 512 stick at pc3200, you can probably get it for around 60 bucks. good luck, and if you have any more questions, just say so.
 
Can you tell us a little more about your RAM?

When you mix different types of RAM together, they all run at the speed of the slowest stick. If the RAM you have is old, budget RAM, it may not be worth keeping. If you do decide to keep it, and it is old & cheap, there's no need to buy good quality RAM as it will be bottlenecked by your existing RAM anyway.

And, as krimson_king said, look for PC3200.
 
This a RAM that I currently have installed:

DDR 256 MB (2X) PC3200 400 MHz OEM

So, I need to buy PC3200? Is there anything else I should be carefull when buying this?
