Hey this is my first post in this forum.
Anyway I live in Australia and iam looking for a good desktop computer.
I need a good computer because I like to design websites, play games, make games, and stuff like that.
I want a pc but iam not sure what build/type to get.
My price range is 100-700 australian dollars or maybe a bit more.
Should i build my own computer??? I have never done it before and Iam only 15 years old.Or should I buy a prebuild computer ????
Maybe someone living in australia could build me a good tower and I buy(for cheap.)
I really need a desktop computer because my laptop broke Iam currently using my sisters :P.
Maybe someone could give me a website to go to?(remember they have to ship to Australia and the postage cant be to much.)
Please help.
I would love to make my own computer but I wouldnt want to do it then fail and waste money.
I found a good looking dell but its a bit exspensive but i can pay it off.
Please tell me if this computer is a good idea for me to get: http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/inspndt_530?c=au&cs=audhs1&l=en&s=dhs I was going to get the middle one(and pay it off)

How much is an Australian dollar as opposed to an American dollar? Maybe we can give you some recommendations. What is your total budget in American dollars?

Yes some where around that but you have to keep in mind shipping and also does the online store ship to Australia?
Could you go to geeks.com and tell me what I can get for $500 American dollars.
thankx.

$500 American dollars is not a lot of money to build a system. I will do some research and see what I can find for ya! Maybe you can do some extra chores or cut a few more lawns and get a little extra cash :D

Case - $20

Motherboard - $80

Processor - $180 (with heatsink and fan)

Power supply - $20

Graphics card - $170

RAM - $25 x 2 = $50

Hard drive - $42

These are just a few ideas for you. Like I said if you can save some more money for a while and get some higher performance parts you will be much more pleased in the long run. Like I said, for $500 dollars you are not gonna get much for a system.
