what should i do?

well i just got myself an Aspire 550w power supply, and it vents out the top with one 120mm fan, the thing is that the only way it fits my case with out modding is upside down, with the fan blowing toward the interior of the case instead of toward the top of it....i could make new mounting holes, but im thinking that would look dumb for one thing to have about 8 holes in the back area, and even if i did switched it around the fan would literall be blowing nowhere, unless i further modded the case, and then the air would blow up into the tpp portion of the case where the handle and some various wiring resides...right now the PS fan is facing the same area in which 2 exhaust fans are trying to do their job, and where the CPU fan will be...i havent fired it up yet because i dont have all the necessary components, but if nothing else im seeing this as being really loud will all the air fighting against itself, not to mention the fact id be blowing warm air of the PS into the case...any thoughts?

You know, this is how i have my pc setup. i have 2 exhaust fans, 2 front intake fans, and a side panel fan. My psu fan, 120mm, blows down as well. I guess i just assumed that ginormous amount of warm air would be sucked into the wonderful intake - to - exhaust jet stream. I have a feeling im wrong, although, my cpu temp stays stable around 42C.

i keep thinking this looks like a job for Dremel though, but im afraid it may weaken the structural integrity of my case, especially the top part where the handle is...can anyone recommend a good case for around 50-75 bucks?

I got the aspire and modded it upside down. works Great. The Rear 120 fan takes it all out and the psu blows out cool air.

Best thing to do is to mount it pointing down and use a good case exhaust fan. The case exhaust needs to be larger than the PSU fan.
