Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 996995

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor HD96ZTWFGRBOX

Powersupply: SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Case:Cooler Master HAF 912 - High Air Flow Mid Tower Computer Case

Preferably on newegg.com and if the item includes a deal with bf4 that would be awesome!
Sadly, i understand putting the computer together as i did it a year and half ago, but i am not good at knowing what to upgrade.

Canyourunit, said i only needed to upgrade processor and gpu.

Have to agree, your system should meet the requirements if you upgrade your video card. You already said you wanted too. The BF4 spec's should be nearly the same as BF3 from what I've read. So a video card upgrade would be the most effective upgrade path.

Definitely need to upgrade the graphics card. Might want to overclock that Phenom if you haven't already too (so you may need an aftermarket CPU cooler).

Agree with Unicorn and Spirit. Get something like a Coolermaster Seidon 120V (or perhaps a 240 if you can afford it) and overclock the CPU. But you should prioritize the GPU tho. A GTX 760/770 or R9 280X would help you a lot in the game. (HD 7970 is often on sale on Newegg for some ridiculos prices, you should look at that)

Thanks, can any one reccomend a good (cheaper would do good a lot lol) aftermarket cpu cooler, and is there any thing else id need to do before i overclock? Never done it before.

If you want to go cheaper, the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo is amazing value.
The head of cooling and cases from Corsair even said in an interview with Newegg that they weren't even gonna try and compete with them at this price point, because the 212 Evo is so good.
It's usually $25-35.
Here's what I would do if you bought the 212 Evo:
Go into your BIOS and set the voltage to 1.45v
From there, see how high you can raise the multiplier.
Basic overclocking info:
FSB: 100MHz (not always 100MHz, but in your case it should be - off the top of my head)
Multiplier: the amount of times the FSB is multiplied.
CPU clock speed: FSB*Multiplier
CPU temperature: 99% based on the voltage you have given your CPU.
My CPU also has an FSB of 100MHz. These are often locked to 100MHz.
My CPU runs at 4.4GHz because I've raised to multiplier to 44. (44*100MHz = 4400MHz)

Again, I would set your voltage to 1.45v and try the multiplier at 42. Then run Prime95 Small FFT and see if it's stable. If it is, you can increase the multiplier and try again. If it's not, you can increase the voltage (increases temperatures as well) or you can reduce the multiplier.
ALL CPUs overclock differently - even if it's exactly the same chip. You can't look up the best overclock on the net, you can only gain inspiration.

I see, is the r9 listed above compatible with my mb? I'm not real good at specs and is that aftermarket fan also compatible?

Yes, the 212 Evo is compatible with your system. In fact I am staring at motherboard with the exact same mounting, using the exact cooler, in your exact case.
Any PCIe 2 or 3 GPU should be compatible with your motherboard. All AMD or NVIDIA from within the last 5 years will be, unless (maybe) it's meant for something reeeeeally special, and not gaming.
