My new parts should be here soon for the contraption I'm building. It's going to be almost all new (from what's in my signature), save for the case and likely the video card. This is the only box I have right now and I want to be able to come here for help when I start breaking things, so I want to build the new one on a test bed first to make sure it at least posts before tearing everything out of this case.
I was just going to place the motherboard on top of the anti-static bag it comes in and put that on top of a piece of wood. Can I do that, or do I need something with those brass things?
