What Should Startup Programs Be for Toshiba Tecra A-8 Notebook?

Would appreciate anyones help on this as I just bought a new Toshiba Tecra A8-S8513 notebook & they currently have everything running on startup. Other then the anti-virus progrram, is it OK to turn everything else off using MSCONFIG or are there some other programs I need to keep running in the background? Thanks for your help.

yes.....or even better uninstall.....the 3rd party apps they install are useless

if youre' unsure about msconfig just uninstall with Add/Remove Programs

i'm sure they give u a CD with all that shit on it in case u need to re-format
